The Hundred

Hamlins supported the English and Wales Cricket Board (ECB) on the launch of The Hundred. This innovative, short form professional cricket league played in a 100-ball format, was created by the ECB and designed to attract new audiences to the game.

We assisted with financial arrangements and strategic advice regarding the global expansion, development and corporate structure of The Hundred series and associated commercial assets.

The tournament took place for the first time in July and August 2021. Eight city-based teams, including both men's and women's squads, now compete over five weeks every summer.
