Hamlins announced as ‘Law Firm of the Year’ finalist for Music Week Awards 2021

By Martin Ochs

We are delighted Hamlins has once again been shortlisted for the ‘Law Firm of the Year’ category in the Music Week Awards 2021.

The Music Week Awards are the UK’s only music awards which recognise professionals and teams across the music industry including labels, retail, radio, A&R, marketing and law.

The prestigious peer-voted awards are judged by an independent panel of specialist judges, with the winners to be announced at an awards ceremony on 14th September this year. The ‘Law firm of the Year’ award is open to any law firm with clients in the B2B music industry, with staff based in the UK.

Hamlins has been advising music and entertainment businesses and influential figures for over 30 years, and we support our clients across the whole range of music matters, including contracts, IP, copyright, distribution, clearance and merchandising agreements.

We provide a full-service offering for all aspects of protecting/exploiting IP rights within the music, entertainment and media sectors to ensure that the rights of the creators are protected.

Partner and Head of Music, Martin Ochs, said: “In what has been a very difficult year for the industry, we are delighted to have again been recognised as a finalist for the Music Week Awards and to have been named alongside some of the leading individuals and firms in the industry.”
