Hamlins welcomes new real estate disputes partner, David Crockford
Hamlins has appointed a new partner, David Crockford, to join its growing Real Estate Disputes team.
David has over 10 years’ experience working as a property litigator and joins from leading south coast law firm, Steele Raymond, where he established and led a successful and large property disputes team.
David provides strategic and practical advice to clients across the entire property sector with a specialist focus advising on landlord/tenant disputes and on disputes arising from the development of land. He has particular expertise in right of light matters; disputes concerning ground rent investment properties; and development disputes including overage and portfolio asset management.
David also brings expertise in solving disputes arising from environmental contracts, including agreements concerning nitrates or biodiversity net gain.
David is chair of the Property Litigation Association (PLA) for the South Coast, having been appointed to this post in 2024.

David joins the growing Real Estate Disputes team alongside two new colleagues: Chris Lee, Senior Associate who joins from Broadfield UK and Amelia Richards, Associate, who has joined from Teacher Stern LLP.
