Petar is a Partner in our Real Estate team.
He has more than 20 years’ experience in real estate law gained at international law firms in London.
His extensive expertise encompasses the acquisition, finance, development, management, and disposal of a wide range of real estate assets across the UK and mainland Europe.
Petar represents a diverse clientele, including institutional investors, developers, and both foreign and domestic banks. His expertise extends to commercial real estate transactions, as well as high-end residential acquisitions for offshore investors and private banks. Petar has recently focused on innovative sectors such as ‘co-living’ and hotel developments, alongside real estate financing transactions for both lenders and borrowers.
With a commitment to excellence and a proactive approach, Petar is dedicated to helping clients navigate the complexities of real estate law, ensuring successful outcomes in every transaction.
His international experience includes advising on cross-border transactions in Central and Eastern Europe, encompassing acquisitions, joint ventures, financings, and corporate matters.
Petar is fluent in Serbian, Croatian, Bosnian, and Montenegrin, with a foundational understanding of Japanese from three years spent in Tokyo, which contributes to his effective management of a global client base.
Petar has previously been seconded to major banks and corporations, including Merrill Lynch Investment Bank and MPC Holdings.
He is a regular speaker at real estate events and conferences and recently served as Deputy Chairman of the British-Serbian Chamber of Commerce, as well as a member of its Executive Board, a position he held for five years.
