Matthew has developed a substantial practice and loyal client following and advises clients on a range of creative and entertainment industries such as television, modelling and sports and has acted for some of London’s biggest names in the bar, restaurant and nightclub arenas. He also has a solid client following in the technology sector.
He has extensive experience advising businesses on the full ambit of cyber security and data protection matters. He advises companies on the best practical and legal measures to mitigate and manage security breaches and ensure compliance with the new EU General Data Protection Regulations. He advises CEOs and senior management how to create the best legal, technological and security governance strategies for the business.
Matthew’s practice covers a wide variety of contracts, often of a global or an international nature. He also has particular expertise in the structuring, negotiation and protection of licensing and franchise arrangements. He has worked previously as an in-house lawyer and has a unique understanding of the fast pace and requirements of commerce. Matthew was Legal Counsel for A1 Grand Prix, the brainchild of a prominent member of the Dubai Royal Family.
