About Georgina

Georgina is a Senior Paralegal in our Media Disputes department.

Georgina works across a variety of matters including defamation claims, reputation management and the ongoing litigation relating to unlawful information gathering against News Group Newspapers and MGN Limited.

Georgina has experience across various stages of the litigation process, including conducting pre-action research, analysing disclosure, drafting correspondence and pleadings, attending client and Counsel meetings and preparing for and attending Court.

She joined Hamlins in October 2023 and was promoted to Senior Paralegal in September 2024.

Georgina graduated from the University of Nottingham in 2021 with a 2.1 in English and Philosophy, before graduating from the University of Law in 2022 with a Commendation in the Graduate Diploma in Law.

  • Various v News Group Newspapers- assisting a variety of clients with their individual claims against The Sun and the News of the World for misuse of private information by voicemail interception and unlawful information gathering. Assisting with Lead Solicitor work.
  • Various v Mirror Group Newspapers- assisting clients with their claims against MGN for misuse of private information by voicemail interception and unlawful information gathering.
  • Various v Associated Newspapers Limited- assisting members of the team in advising clients bringing claims against ANL for misuse of private information and unlawful information gathering.
