Our history
Hamlins was established in 1913 and we are very proud of our 100-year heritage. The modern history of the firm began in 1984 when AE Hamlin & Co (a litigation firm specialising in film and music copyright) merged with Slowes (a property-based firm) to form Hamlin Slowe. The firm was subsequently joined by H Davies & Co and by Jacobson Ridley, and in 2006 the firm incorporated as Hamlins LLP.
Hamlins today has a Partnership comprising 20 Partners with Matthew Pryke serving as Managing Partner since 2020.
In 2022, we moved from our previous Regent Street location to a brand new London office in the iconic One Kingsway building. We are based in the heart of the West End, adjacent to The Strand, Covent Garden and the Royal Courts of Justice.
Our office provides a modern, exciting and engaging workplace in which to meet and collaborate with our colleagues, clients and network.
