Tower Bridge Yacht & Boat Company Limited

We acted for Tower Bridge Yacht & Boat Company Limited in relation to the ownership of moorings situated downstream of London's Tower Bridge which is home to a community of more than 100 individuals who reside in a collection of 30 barges surrounded by floating gardens and walkways.

The High Court determined, in 2013, that the moorings at Downings Roads were ancient moorings. We were then subsequently instructed in relation to the subsequent arbitration proceedings for the purposes of determining the rent to be paid for the moorings to the PLA, and recovered our client’s costs in the arbitration.
