About Rupert

Rupert is a valued consultant in our Reputation and Privacy team and in the field of photographic copyright.

Rupert’s reputation in the field of libel and copyright law is well established. During a long career he has represented, and fought libel actions for and against, national papers, politicians, celebrities, photographers, authors, galleries, national institutions, publishers, bankers and explorers.

Previously, Rupert was the Senior Partner of libel and copyright lawyers, Crockers; an equity partner in Farrer & Co; and latterly a consultant with commercial law firm, Swan Turton.

He continues to be involved as a board member in educational and other national institutions and regularly lectures in the UK and overseas.
