About Katie

Katie is an Associate in the Commercial and Tech and Corporate teams.

Katie regularly advises SMEs, large corporate entities and individuals both in the UK and overseas on corporate, contractual, intellectual property and data protection matters. Katie has worked with, and advised, a wide range of clients within different industry sectors including finance, sports, technology, retail, hospitality, and real estate.

Day to day, Katie assists with drafting and advising on commercial contracts, including management agreements, terms of business, supply of goods and services agreements, manufacturing agreements, terms and conditions, non-disclosure agreements, data protection policies and website policies.

Katie’s experience extends to acting for both buyers and sellers in private company acquisitions and mergers, acting for borrowers and banks in secured lending transactions, and advising on joint ventures, shareholder agreements, corporate governance, company formation and incorporation.

She is a Recommended Lawyer by Legal 500.

Katie joined Hamlins in September 2023. She previously worked as a Corporate and Commercial paralegal in a West End law firm for several years before completing her training contract and qualifying as a Solicitor in April 2023. She is qualified to practise in England and Wales.

Katie graduated from Keele University with an LLB in Law in 2014 before completing her Legal Practice Course at Nottingham Law School in 2017.
