Samantha is an Associate within the Real Estate Disputes team and joined Hamlins in 2021.
Samantha has a detailed understanding of the challenges facing both residential and commercial landlords and tenants during difficult economic times and works hard to stay abreast of the latest legal changes in these areas. She has experience dealing with a broad range of real estate litigation acting for both freehold and leasehold owners including disrepair, dilapidations, service charge disputes, injunctions, specific performance and claims of undue influence and misrepresentation.
Samantha has established a practice specialising in Adverse Possession Claims for both unregistered and registered land, complex Assured Shorthold Tenancy disputes and Housing matters. She prides herself on her up to date and commercial understanding of the ever-changing provisions of the private rental housing market. Where it has been cost effective for her clients, she has appeared as an advocate in the County Court in relation to her client’s possession matters with great success.
Before qualifying as a solicitor, Samantha obtained her Masters in International Business Management and worked in business development, which has given her a pragmatic and real world insight into the commercial needs of her litigation clients.
Samantha focuses on the cost benefit for her clients of mediation and Alternative Dispute Resolution and her strong track record of successful settlements is testament to this.
