    Razzak is an Associate in the Commercial and Tech team.

    Razzak specialises in commercial contracts, technology and intellectual property matters across the sports, hospitality, retail, fashion and entertainment sectors.

    Razzak has particular expertise in brand protection, personal endorsements, sponsorship, intellectual property licencing and digital content. He has experience drafting and negotiating agreements for a range of businesses including start-ups, athletes, social influencers, digital platforms, major UK PLCs and sports organisations.

    Razzak joined Hamlins in February 2021 having previously worked as Group IP and Commercial Counsel at Entain (previously GVC), one of the world’s largest sports betting and gaming groups, operating a number of well-known sports brands such as Ladbrokes, Coral and bwin. Prior to this, he worked as an Associate at Charles Russell Speechlys and at sports law boutique, Couchmans.

    Razzak founded a charity called Beder which takes a unique approach to raising awareness around mental health and suicide prevention, in memory of his younger brother, in November 2019. Razzak read Arabic and Middle Eastern Studies at Leeds University before completing his Graduate Diploma in Law and Legal Practice Course.
