Olivia Biggin is a paralegal in our EMIP department.

Olivia joined the EMIP team in August 2018, and has gained considerable experience working on a variety of privacy and libel matters. Olivia assists the media team in phone-hacking claims, for which the firm are Lead Solicitor for litigation against News Group Newspapers, as well as assisting on other reputation management and privacy claims.

Olivia graduated from King College London in 2014 with a BA in International Politics (2:1). Olivia has since gained a Distinction in her GDL, and a Commendation in her LPC.

Work Highlights

    Various v News Group Newspapers – Olivia assists the team in their role as Lead solicitor in the group phone-hacking litigation against the News of the World and The Sun, as well as assisting with advising Claimants on their individual claims.

    Various v MGN Limited – Olivia assists on individual claims against The Mirror and The People newspapers for misuse of private information by voicemail interception and other unlawful information gathering.

    Lord Mohamed Sheikh v Associated Newspapers Limited – Olivia is currently assisting in Lord Sheikh’s claim against the MailOnline for libel.
