Jim is a Paralegal in our Media Disputes department.
Jim joined Hamlins in August 2021 and assists the team in a variety of media law cases. These include privacy claims against Mirror Group and News Group Newspapers, as part of the ongoing litigation for unlawful information gathering (UIG).
Jim works closely with individual claimants, as well as supporting other members of the team in the firm’s role as lead solicitor. Jim works with a wide range of clients, including high profile individuals from within broadcast, music and sport.
He has experience in numerous elements of the dispute resolution process, including drafting letters of claim, requesting and analysing disclosure, preparing valuations, and assisting in the negotiation of settlements.
Jim graduated from the University of Liverpool in 2021 with a first class degree in Law with Politics.
