Jayne is an Associate in the Media Disputes department.

Jayne joined Hamlins in November 2021 from a boutique litigation firm in West Yorkshire.

Her career to date has been focused almost exclusively on litigation and she brings a wide range of experience in claims for individuals in actions covering negligence, commercial disputes and actions against the police.

In the past five years, Jayne’s work has been focused on acting for clients in claims against NGN and MGN for misuse of private information. She represents both individuals in the public eye and private individuals who have been victims of press intrusion.

Jayne has helped secure many settlements both pre-issue and through litigation. She has an understanding that litigation can be stressful for clients, regardless of their background, and so always ensures clients understand the advice given, including when to issue Court proceedings.

In addition, Jayne is experienced in the broader reputation management work which the department regularly undertakes.
