Daisy is an Associate in the Media Disputes department at Hamlins.
Daisy has experience acting for a broad range of clients, from high profile individuals (including musicians and actors) to multinational corporations in respect of all aspects of media law including, reputation management, defamation and privacy law.
She works in the team on the unlawful information gathering (UIG) litigation against News Group Newspapers (in respect of which Hamlins is the Lead Solicitor) and MGN.
Daisy also forms part of the team acting for Claimants who have brought and continue to bring claims for misuse of private information against Channel 5 in respect of the television programme Can’t Pay? We’ll Take it Away!
Daisy is also experienced in providing pre-publication advice to broadcasters, documentary makers, publishers and individuals, including advice on regulatory risks.
Daisy graduated from the University of Nottingham with a degree in modern languages, which included a year abroad spent in Madrid, Spain. She studied the GDL and LPC at BPP University in London, before completing her training contract at a city-based firm.
