    Alice is a Paralegal in our Media Disputes department. She joined Hamlins in July 2023.

    Alice has experience working on a variety of matters, including defamation and privacy claims, and in particular on the ongoing litigation relating to unlawful information gathering against News Group Newspapers, MGN Limited and Associated Newspapers Limited.

    Alice has worked on claims for high-profile individuals across various stages of the litigation process. She conducts pre-action research and disclosure analysis, attends meetings with clients and Counsel, and assists in drafting pleadings and costs recovery processes.

    Alice also assists in the Mobile Telephone Voicemail Interception Litigation against News Group Newspapers, in which Hamlins is the Lead Solicitor and represents numerous claimants. She has experience in preparing for and attending hearings, and liaising with Counsel and Court.

    Alice read Law at the University of Bristol and graduated in 2022. Alongside her studies, she volunteered at the University’s Law Clinic and was on the committee of the Women in Law Society.

      • Various v News Group Newspapers – corresponding with clients regarding their individual claims against The Sun and News of the World for misuse of private information by voicemail interception and unlawful information gathering, and carrying out Lead Solicitor work including preparing for and attending hearings.
      • Various v Mirror Group Newspapers – corresponding with clients regarding their individual claims against The Sunday Mirror, The Daily Mirror and The People for misuse of private information by voicemail interception and unlawful information gathering.
