HPN breakfast with guest speaker Kate Adie, 6th June 2018

Hamlins Property Network (HPN) hosted a property breakfast on 6th June 2018. We were delighted to welcome our guest speaker Kate Adie, a well-known BBC broadcast journalist, now retired after a long and varied career as the BBC’s Chief News Correspondent. Kate was one of the first British women to report from danger zones and today she referred to her experiences in Iran, Bosnia and Kosovo amongst others. Kate’s extremely impressive resume of danger zones, where she reported from and lived in during times of trouble, featured regularly on prime time BBC news features.

Guest speaker: Kate Adie

Kate Adie is a well-known broadcaster, and achieved fame through her work as the BBC’s Chief News Correspondent. She became one of the first British women to send dispatches from danger zones around the world. Kate was named “Reporter of the Year” twice by the Royal Television Society and is also the long-serving presenter of Radio 4’s From Our Own Correspondent and a presenter and contributor to many other radio and television programmes.
